I don’t know about you, but this crummy weather has got me craving spring, and in a big way. I’m excited about the trends for spring, but I’m even more excited about getting back to my personal basics. I love the vibe that spring brings each year — it’s a time of rebirth, rejuvenation and there is a certain freshness in the air that you just can’t beat. Plus, I’m turning 22 this spring, so you could say I’m also pretty excited about that.
Pieces I’m most excited to bring back into my wardrobe: stripes (white + navy, can’t go wrong), light denim, dainty gold jewelry, tees (this Margiela one has quickly stolen my heart) and sneakers. Since I’m not one to work out, I love that Nike kicks have made their way into the fashion scene — now I don’t have to pretend I work out to get to wear them! My mom recently picked me up a pair of these New Balance x J.Crew sneakers (now sold out in the blue she got me, but I’m loving the brights they have left!) and I can’t wait to receive them. Here’s hoping spring hurries along!
